Donate Food

Food Donations

We appreciate all food donations from the public. We really could not operate without it. We accept in date perishable items that can help people in need.

Everyone can help feed someone.

Retailers or commercial companies can donate funds, sponsor a specific project or launch an appeal for their customers and staff to donate food. We have found that companies doing so benefit from being seen to care for the community. We would be pleased to assist you with planning and launching an appeal tailored to your business. In 2013 and 2014, our supporters have won Croydon Community Civic Awards for their work with us.

Food manufacturers or retailers can help by supplying food, either on a one-off or regular basis.

Individuals can volunteer to help in our store or perhaps take part in a collection at a supermarket. Alternatively, you could organise a fundraising event or just bring in a bag of shopping as many people do, knowing that all donated food goes directly to local people in need.

Food is donated from local schools at harvest festivals, supermarket donations, individual donations and business collections through either dropping at The Store or collection. Volunteers also may be collecting at a store near you. (Look out for the Challenge Youth Team)
